Trediberri (three founders based in the hamlet of Berri) makes Barolos that show their love for Burgundy! This bottling comes from their original plot on the Western-facing slope of the La Morra ridge, where wines are known for their saturation of fresh-toned fruit and lifted floral aromas, accompanied by a relatively light, black tea-like tannic structure.

VINOUS 95+ POINTS - "Nicola and Stefania Oberto are slowly putting Berri on the map. Silky, aromatic and creamy on the palate, the 2021 Barolo Berri is striking in its beauty. Crushed flowers, sweet red-toned fruit, chalk, mint and white pepper all meld together effortlessly. Silky, polished tannins frame the finish. The 2021 doesn't have the immediacy of the 2020, but it may catch up to it one day because of its energy. It is a superb young Barolo—that much is clear. "Berri is a small hamlet in the westernmost part of La Morra, located in the Langhe hills of Piemonte, close to the Tanaro river. It lies at the extreme western edge of the Barolo region. Here, in 2007, Nicola, his father Federico and their friend Vladimiro, acquired 5 hectares circa (12.5 acres) exclusively for the production of Barolo. The Trediberri winery was born.

Our first wine was released in 2011 and today we vinify wine from 10,5 ha (26 acres) of vineyards: in addition to the original 5 ha (12 acres) in the Berri Cru...

Alcoholic fermentation happens in concrete and lasts around 12-14 days, followed by a 6-7 day post-fermentative maceration. Total skin-juice contact is around 3 weeks. Then malolactic takes place in oak and the wine ages for around 20 months in 52-hl and 25-hl oak barrels crafted by Tonnellerie Garbellotto. After aging, the wine rests for some months in concrete, before being bottled," - WINERY NOTES
