Destilado de agave produced in Tecoanapa, Guerrero
Maestro Mezcalero Cesareo García
Produced from 100% Zacatoro (Agave angustifolia)

49% ABV
From the prolific Cesareo García, father of Guadalupe Bastian, and one of the Sanzekan collective’s most recognized mezcaleros, comes this rare example of wild-harvested A. angustifolia. This agave is smaller and more fibrous than most Oaxacan examples—more similar to the Espadilla of Oaxaca’s northern regions than the Espadín of the Central Valles. This batch carries heavy esters which also lean into nostalgic aromas of banana, almond, blueberry jam, and oily peanut hulls.
