This Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Gamble Vineyard, located in the heart of Yountville, in the southern section of the area, at the confluence of 3 rivers. Aged entirely in stainless steel for freshness, citrus, passion fruit, and peach leap forth from the glass energetically, against a backdrop of petrichor and wet slate. Fresh acid on the palate provides the scaffolding for flavors of key lime, apple, pear and sliced melon as well as hints of crisp yellow bell pepper. Droves of tropical fruit are nicely balanced by a mineral and citrus core that shows wonderful freshness and texture. This is a no brainer cellar grab for any social occasion.
