JEB DUNNUCK 94 POINTS - "These Lerner Project wines are a collaboration between Stu Lerner, Matt Simpson, and Russell Bevan. Looking first at the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville, of which there are 11 barrels made, it sports a saturated purple color to go with a bright yet powerful nose of creme de cassis, mulled blackberries, dark chocolate, vanilla, and white flowers, with just a hints of lead pencil. This is a plush, ripe, sexy wine that gives up full-bodied aromas and flavors, sweet yet present tannins, good freshness, and a great finish. Drink this sexy fruit bomb anytime over the coming 15-20 years or so. It needs an hour in a decanter if drinking anytime soon."
