From J.E. Borie (Ducru-Beaucaillou) - Very warm, rich nose with woodsy tones mixed with cassis and spices. Soft fruit tones and silky tannins are in the foreground upon tasting. Red fruit leather, sweet cherry and red plum, meld with light earth and a flourish of tannins on the finish. Very balanced, charming wine.
