BIODYNAMIC AND ORGANIC

Established in 1988, David and Frédéric Giachino run this estate located in Chapareillan, facing the Bauges massif and overlooking the Isère valley. Certified organic since 2008, the estate follows biodynamic principles: hand-harvested, vinified with indigenous yeasts, and no SO2 added except at bottling.

Antoine and Clément, the new generation, bring new energy to this family farm. In addition to carrying out intense work in the vineyard, with a vast replanting plan for olive trees and shrubs, the family welcomes its customers in a friendly atmosphere in the wine bar - guinguette adjoining the winery.

Since 2015, just under 4 hectares at the Prieuré Saint-Christophe (Michel Grisard's vines) have been added to the range. The estate is a sure bet, offering a wide variety of wines, including a precise and varied interpretation of the Jacquère.

Monfarina is a blend of Jacquère with a hint of Verdesse. The nose is reminiscent of hay and chamomile, and the palate is straightforward, svelte, and mouthwatering. It's a perfect wine to start a meal!

WINERY NOTES - Our decision to adopt organic methods of wine production allows us to appreciate the true nature of our region. Our vineyards are located in the foothills of Mount Granier, whose geological formation and history are what make our organic wines so unique.

This pale yellow wine evokes the intense aroma of tropical fruits such as passion fruit and litchi combined with the mineral quality of citrus and blackcurrant, with a rounded flavour that lingers on the palate.
