During my last visit it was inferred that larger wood barrels will soon become standard, replacing the small barrels that are currently in use. Kirsch, wood smoke and sandalwood, with mocha and cocoa notes from the oak. The palate is full, toothsome and nicely developed, flowing long across the beautifully hewn tannins, with oak and grape notes. This is a very impressive showing. As good a wine as any I have had here. Drink or hold, as this will continue to age well."
