    Bottle Size: 750ml
    Wine Spectator: 90
WINE SPECTATOR 90 POINTS - "This has a solid core of plum paste and currant preserve flavors, wrapped in licorice threads and backed by a hint of bay for contrast on the finish. Shows bit of grip. Well done. Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2018 through 2024. 4,500 cases made."

  2. DOMAINE PALLIERES 2015 GIGONDAS LA RACINES

    Item #: i_311338
    Bottle Size: 750ML
    Wine Advocate: 91
    Wine Spectator: 92
    Vinous Media: 91-93
    James Suckling: 94
JAMES SUCKLING 94 POINTS - "Much older vines, with close to a 100-year-old average. This has a cherry and pepper edge to it. Very plush and even, elegant and refreshing. The stems are perfectly integrated. Elegant, lithe and profound. Layered and long, builds freshness. Drink now."

WINE SPECTATOR 92 POINTS - "Still youthfully tight, with singed alder and dried lavender notes framing a coiled core of cassis, damson plum and bitter cherry fruit. The long sanguine- and mineral-edged finish will need some time to unwind fully. Best from 2019 through 2027."

WINE ADVOCATE 91 POINTS - " I preferred the Domaine Les Pallieres 2015 Gigondas Les Racines, which comes from 75-year-old vines (80% Grenache) at lower elevation. There's a sassafras-like spice note to this wine, along with ripe cherries and hints of clove and allspice. Like the Terrasse de Diable, it's full-bodied and silky in texture, but the Racines seems to carry its alcohol better. Both of these Gigondas are matured exclusively in 60-hectoliter foudres, so there's no obvious oak influence.

  3. NICOLAS FEUILLATTE 2006 BRUT PALMES D'OR

    Item #: i_373441
    Bottle Size: 750ML
    Wine Spectator: 93
    James Suckling: 93
    Wine Enthusiast: 93 Points
WINE SPECTATOR 93 POINTS - "An elegant Champagne that offers flavors of poached pear, candied kumquat and dried cherry on a delicate mousse. Well-cut, with a lingering, mineral-tinged finish. Drink now through 2026."

JAMES SUCKLING 93 POINTS - "Some charming reductive toastiness on the nose ahead of ripe peach stone fruits and lemon citrus, as well as biscuity spices and grilled almonds. The palate carries plenty of yellow peach and lemon citrus fruit flavors. Acidity sits inside fleshy smooth fruit creating handy length and balance."

WINE ENTHUSIAST 93 POINTS - "The prestige cuvée from this producer, this has richness and a dense texture that brings out the ripe fruits. From a good, if not great, vintage, it is beautifully balanced, still young to taste and likely to age well. Drink now for the fruit or wait until 2018 for more maturity."

  4. TRIMBACH 2016 RIESLING

    Item #: i_334123
    Bottle Size: 750ML
    James Suckling: 90
    Wine Enthusiast: 93 Points
WINE ENTHUSIAST 93 POINTS - "Wet stone and fresh lemon are faint but distinct on the nose. A pure lemon flavor streaks across the slender, taut palate, with a comet-like spray of freshness. This wine is dry and, if it weren't for juicy glimpses of ripe lemon, would be almost austere."

JAMES SUCKLING 90 POINTS - "Quite tart and firm. This has enough depth to carry well, and there's a great burst of candied-citrus character at the long finish. Drink or hold."
