  1. DOMAINE LEFLAIVE 2017 PULIGNY MONTRACHET 1ER CRU LES PUCELLES

    Item #: i_350375
    Bottle Size: 750ml
    Burghound: 94
BURGHOUND 92 - 95 POINTS - "A discreet, even shy nose offers up attractively fresh and ultra-pure notes of citrus, honeysuckle, white peach and a hint of acacia blossom. There is excellent delineation to the intense, equally pure and seductive middle weight flavors that possess good verve and plenty of minerality on the solidly persistent finish that delivers outstanding depth. This elegant beauty is a refined mix of punch and finesse."

WINE ADVOCATE 92 - 94 POINTS - "The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Pucelles wafts from the glass with aromas of spring flowers, white peach, lemon, pastry cream and blanched almonds. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural but tangy, with a pure, fine-boned profile. It was quite reserved when I tasted it, so I suspect it only needs time to take on the breadth and dimension that characterize a great Pucelles, but for now, the wine is quite tensile and linear."

  2. MOREY-BLANC 2010 MEURSAULT CHARMES 1ER CRU

    Item #: i_345039
    Bottle Size: 750ML
    Wine Advocate: 93
    Burghound: 90-92
WINE ADVOCATE 91 POINTS: "The 2010 Meursault Charmes emerges from the glass with a rich tapestry of smoke, lychee, mint and crushed rocks. It is a beautifully nuanced wine that captures the generosity of Charmes without losing its essential minerality. Layers of flavor continue to build as the wine literally blossoms on the finish. This is a fabulous effort."

  3. PIERRE MOREY 2017 MEURSAULT LES TESSONS

    Item #: i_345038
    Bottle Size: 750ML
    Wine Advocate: 92-94
    Burghound: 89-91
WINE ADVOCATE 92-94 POINTS : "The 2017 Meursault Les Tessons is superb—a wine that will be high up on my personal shopping list in this vintage—wafting from the glass with a reserved bouquet of green orchard fruit, lemon oil, crushed chalk and almond paste. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, deep and layered, with a concentrated, tight-knit core and an almost electric sense of energy, concluding with a long, tangy finish. As usual, it surpasses many of the appellation's premiers crus."

BURGHOUND 91-93 POINTS "OUTSTANDING, TOP VALUE": "While here too there is a hint of matchstick, it is more subtle on the freshly sliced green apple, floral and petrol-scented nose. There is even better volume to the finer and beautifully detailed medium weight flavors that possess a positively gorgeous texture before culminating in a racy, pure and impeccably well-balanced finish. Chez Morey this is always refined but in 2017 it is super-elegant and highly recommended and particularly so for a villages."
