BR> BURGHOUND 94 POINTS : "This is showing almost exactly as it did from my last in-bottle review with perhaps just a bit better complexity and I have raised my score accordingly. A restrained nose is comprised by notes of smoky reduction, sea breeze and whiffs of exotic fruit and oak toast. The rich, dense and very suave flavors coat the palate with sappy dry extract while the powerful and focused finish delivers outstanding length. While this excellent effort could certainly be enjoyed now, I would advise continuing to hold for another 4 to perhaps 7 years first. Lovely juice."mark (8/2021)
BR> WINE ADVOCATE 94 POINTS : "The 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Vaulorent is a terrific effort that's one of the finest premier cru bottlings from Fèvre that I've ever tasted. Unwinding in the glass with a lively bouquet of fresh peach, green apples, spring blossom, oyster shell and wheat toast, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and multidimensional, with exceptional concentration, racy acids and a long, penetrating finish. Didier Séguier should be very proud of this weightless but intense Vaulorent, a wine that outshines plenty of grand cru Chablis this year."
