WINE ADVOCATE 94 POINTS - "The NV White Wine 2 Viognier 6th Edition is a blend of Viognier from 2011 to 2021 in a solera style. These vines were planted in 2010 on the third terrace of the Huasco River, in their Nicolasa vineyard. The grapes from different years were pressed with 30% to 50% of full clusters, depending on the vintage, and the juice fermented with native yeasts from 2011 to 2014 in used French barriques and from 2015 in stainless steel barrels. The wine matures in 30% well-seasoned and neutral French barriques and the rest in stainless steel barrels; the 2011 matured for seven years and the 2021 for 10 months. The blend was bottled unfined and unfiltered. It has 13% alcohol and a pH of 3.35 with 6.68 grams of acidity (tartaric). This is very cloudy (they put some fine lees in the bottle) and has a very expressive nose, fresher than previous editions, less oxidative and clean, subtle, elegant and complex. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with precision and purity and a bone-dry finish, very tasty, with tension. 1,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2023."
