17 months in 66% new French oak aging, but this is in no way an oak bomb. Instead, this is refreshingly classic in style. Purple in color with a big nose full of dark, black plum and cassis. Luxurious palate of brambly blackberry and cigar box with hints of ripe plum. Finishes long with chewy but supple tannins. 800 cases produced.
