VINOUS MEDIA 93+ POINTS -"White flowers and chamomile give way to freshly sliced apple, crushed almond and stone...This coats the entire palate in silken richness, yet it maintains perfect poise, as mineral-tinged stone fruits give way to brown spice under an air of pretty inner florals. There's an almost-crunchy feel to the finale, yet also a balanced inner sweetness combined with residual acids that creates a sense of total harmony, as hints of lime and melon slowly taper off. The Erre is a single-vineyard Fiano di Avellino that spends eighteen months refining on the lees. I seriously hope to be able to revisit this beauty in three to four years."

One of the benchmark estates for Fiano di Avellino, the vineyards lie along the stretch of limestone clay soils with volcanic tuff that the renownwed Fiano areas of Lapio and Montefalcione share. Aged 18 months on the fine less in stainless steel. "Elegant notes of citrus, fruity, floral, balsamic and mint, yellow peach, grapefruit closes with a note of toasted hazelnut. On the palate is long and vertical, very fresh and complex. Full tasty, intense, persistent and balanced; a classy wine. It is already aged but can also age up to 5/7 years." - WINERY NOTES
