Nose: Light sweet spices, orchard fruits, grain, cola nut, candle wax.
Palate: Blend of sweet/savory spices, ripe tree fruits (stewed plums, guava), white pepper, hint of plantain, brown sugar, touch of heat.
Overall: 114 proof but easy to enjoy neat. There's going to be a bit of heat on the overproof batches but there's enough 'stuffing' to combat the heat. The sweeter elements keep the proof from dominating and the proof keeps the sweet elements from being cloying. Big, brash, beautiful whiskey. Enjoy! Baltimore, Maryland.
