BURGHOUND 92 POINTS - "There is a whiff of the exotic present on the slightly honeyed aromas of white peach, freshly sliced citrus and a floral top note. The succulent, even seductively textured medium-bodied flavors possess both good volume and density that contrasts somewhat with the bone-dry, moderately austere and borderline tannic finale. The Clos de la Maltroie is usually approachable young, but this sneaky long effort is going to require at least some patience. In a word, lovely."
WINE SPECTATOR 92 POINTS - "
Pale lemon color. As usual the nose here is less expressive though there is a good weight of fruit. Picked 27th August, 45-50 hl/ha 13.5%. The character shows more on the palate, white fruit with a little sucrosity. Ready soon but with capacity to age."
