PETER LEIM 2 STARS-"This is Marguet’s last release of Amboniacus, as from now on, the wine will be re-labeled as a single-cru Ambonnay. True to its vintage, it’s round and warm, marked by a broad richness and velvety texture. It’s made of equal parts pinot noir and chardonnay, and despite showing a lot of ripeness, it’s firmly anchored in soil, showing a pronounced and darkly savory minerality under its rich fruit. It finishes with long, fragrant aromas, feeling tense, vibrant and harmoniously composed. Last tasted: 4/15."
