We're in prime Pinot Noir season, and New Zealand's Central Otago valley makes some irresistible bottlings to crack open at the table! Luckily, we came across a rare deal on the delicious one from the Loveblock winery, which is what world-famous winemaker, Kim Crawford, and his wife, Erica, have been up to since selling his eponymous winery (yes that one!). Regularly priced up to $34.99, we're offering Loveblock's 2020 Pinot Noir for an unbelievable $16.98!

This Pinot offers a lot for this small price, offering a delicious expression of Central Otago's scenic, semi-arid wilderness of Bendigo. Nestled in the foothills of the Southern Alps, the Pinots here offer a powerful take on the island's energetic and complex style. Detailed aromas are tantalizingly fresh, reminiscent of forest undergrowth, crushed cherry and red plum, flowers, cola and a hint of light toast. It rides the line between savory and fruity, gliding lithely across the palate with a refreshing, vibrantly juicy mouthfeel. Not overly polished, but still refined, the lightly grippy tannins peek through, pulling everything to a dry, robust and lightly warming finish that calls for another sip. This will resonate with dishes like well-roasted cauliflower, grilled mushrooms, stuffed yellow peppers, cedar plank salmon or trout, roasted citrus-marinated pork (carnitas!) and roast duck.

Get the grill fired up and grab a few bottles before they vanish!

WINE SPECTATOR 93 POINTS - "Fresh and lively, revealing a pretty floral note of violet, with cherry, plum and robust tobacco flavors. Offers a hint of dark chocolate on the firm, muscular finish. Harmonious and powerful. Drink now through 2030. 4,000 cases imported."

Sustainably farmed.
