VINOUS 93 - 95 POINTS - "The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Champeaux 1er Cru saw 50% whole bunch with two-thirds new oak. It has a subtle, cerebral bouquet featuring gorgeous black fruit mixed with sea spray, cockle sheds and graphite aromas; this is very classy. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, very intense and energetic, leading to a sorbet-fresh, blood-orange-infused finish that has a lot of potential. Cellar this Champeaux for five or six years if you can, because it has ambition."
