This wine is like a cool breeze in a bottle; meticulously crafted to be your ideal companion to beat the heat. To top it off, it got a 92-point score by Wine Spectator showing the quality to price point on this wine is something to not pass up! As the temperatures and humidity levels soar, a nice chilled wine like this is sure to bring you some comfort and almost make you feel like you are on a schooner in the middle of the ocean with fair winds above and peaceful swells below, while the flavors will steer you to the tropics for some relaxation time.

Winery founder David Stare was the first to plant the Sauvignon Blanc varietal in the Dry Creek Valley, against the advice of many viticultural experts. Many years later, Sauv Blanc is now the most widely planted white variety in the Dry Creek Valley! David's daughter Kim and her husband Don are proud to carry on his legacy producing this classic, dry white wine.

Sustainability is paramount at Dry Creek, with partner Don Wallace leading the charge. The winery utilizes cover crops, beekeeping, composting, and owl boxes in the vineyards, while implementing low-volume water usage, solar power, energy conservation, as well as taking the Waste Zero Pledge for recycling.

Crafted from several distinct vineyard sites, this wine incorporates two Sauvignon Blanc clones - Sauvignon Musqué and Sauvignon Gris - for added complexity and texture. In expressing the Dry Creek Valley's unique terroir, this Sauvignon Blanc presents refreshing aromas of passionfruit, guava, pineapple, lemongrass and cucumber. On the palate, flavors of honeydew melon, peach and tangerine come through with floral tones and a slightly creamy yet lively finish. Stainless steel fermentation was supplemented with small amounts of acacia, French oak and chestnut barrels, adding extra character and nuance to this delicious wine.

Hi-Time has championed the Dry Creek wines for several years. One sip from their latest release, and you're sure to see why!
