Established in 2007, Double Canyon Vineyard resides in the heart of the award-winning Horse Heaven Hills. This appellation is a historic source for many wineries, but Double Canyon is one of few estate wineries actually located in this corner of Washington State. Named for two ravines that run through the property, Double Canyon produces estate-grown wine that expresses the individuality of this distinctive windswept, desert appellation.
Characteristic of the appellation and the 2017 vintage, this Cabernet Sauvignon offers aromas of rich blackberry, pie crust and baking vanilla. The wine enters the palate with a silky raspberry profile accented by light notes of confectioners' sugar. Hints of peach and raspberry take you into the finish, lingering with the juicy acidity that is characteristic of Horse Heaven Hills.
