A distinctive Sancerre from a biodynamic estate with a cult following worldwide. Certified biodynamic since 2017, ‘let nature do its work’ is the motto at Domaine du Nozay. Here, ‘vigneron’ Cyril de Benoist believes in letting the grapes express their terroir, by minimising additions throughout the growing and winemaking process. This means the vines are not treated with chemicals, only indiginous yeasts are used to start fermentation, and minimal sulphur is added during winemaking.
Tasting Notes -
A brilliant and intense color with golden reflections distilling elegant and discreet aromas of pink grapefruit, lychee, lemon, and especially of sliced yellow peach. With an ideal acidity carried by an admirably structured body, its refreshing notes of pear in syrup, give it a certain pleasure on the palate.
