DECANTER 94 POINTS - "Located in the village of Brochon on the northern side of Gevrey-Chambertin, Les Evocelles is a site that produces Pinots that can be every bit as good as some Premiers Crus. The soil is very poor here and the resulting wine is taut, focused and mineral-edged, unusually so for a 2018. Detailed, racy and refreshing, with deftly integrated 60% new wood, plenty of zip and bite and layers of sweet summer berry fruit. Balanced and refreshing."
