Thibaud Clerget is young, passionate, and the 28th generation of his family to tend vine in Volnay– a town known for making the most light and floral style of pinot noir in the region. Clerget’s wines are some of Volany’s most illustrious; they’re also some of the region’s most rare. Each year, Clerget makes only three barrels of this wine from a couple small rows of organic vines. Though hard to find, they’re easy to like– a fresh take on a classic style that will drink well today and tomorrow, too.
