- Item #: i_162009Bottle Size: 750MLPlymouth Gin has been made at the original distillery, in Plymouth, England, to the same high standards for over 220 years. Each batch is crafted in the same copper pot still dating back to 1855. The smooth taste of Plymouth Gin is the result of a balanced blend of seven hand-selected botanicals, distilled with soft Dartmoor water. And we’re one of the few distilleries to use a small amount of green cardamom for its intense, spicy, sweet and floral flavors. This makes it an excellent base for the classic Martini.

- Item #: i_167067Bottle Size: 750MLThe making of fruit gins has long been a tradition in the English countryside, and ours keeps true to a recipe dating back to 1883.
The Nose - A clear character of mellow sloe berries, it’s fruity with notes of sweet cherry and a slight scent of almonds
The Palate - Fruity, smooth and full-bodied, with a perfect balance of sweet and dry
The Finish - Long, fresh and fruity
A 750ml bottle of Plymouth Sloe Gin (26% abv). Sloe berries are slowly and gently steeped in Plymouth Gin, soft pure Dartmoor water and a small amount of sugar for approximately 4 months.
The sugar levels are kept low to allow the full flavour of the berries to shine and allow the dry acidity of the fruit to be an important part of the taste. The result is an entirely natural product with no added flavourings or colourings. Sloe Gin has long been enjoyed as a ’winter warmer’ in the countryside.
- Item #: i_102085Bottle Size: 750mlPlymouth Gin has been in prodction since 1793. Today the grain alcohol is made at Blackfriars Distillery, which itself dates from the 15th century. Today, Blackfriars is owned by Coats Distillery, home of Plymouth gin. The label is now owned by Pernod-Ricard as part of a merger in 2008. Plymouth Navy Strength gin is a re-launch of an older recipe and chimes in at a huge and unusual 114 proof. It is said that it was the proof at which gunpowder--if soaked in gin--would still ignite making it invaluable for the British Navy. It uses the same unique blend of seven botanicals which makes up the classic 80 proof version but bottled at a higher proof. They suggest serving it with a Gimlet.
