The Casa Noble Blanco is triple distilled; while strong and pungent on the attack, with mild complexity and moderate agave intensity, the high earthy agave with white pepper, ginsing, slight smoke, and moderate citrus fill in the aromas brilliantly. The mouth feel is medium with some sweetness. High wet cement agave tastes with moderate pepper, carmel, and smoke. Lip-numbing alcohol, high sweetness, medium bitterness on the finish with lingering sweet carmel.BJ
Casa Dragones Blanco is a small batch, 100% Pure Blue Agave silver tequila, crafted to deliver the true essence of agave through an innovative process that focuses on purity, for a crisp, smooth taste.
When served on the rocks, Casa Dragones Blanco’s delicate citrus notes open and expand, delivering warm hints of pepper and cloves on the palate, and a crisp, light finish with hints of almonds and a bright aftertaste.
This tequila, full in color, while slightly pungent on the attack, is still rather full. The complex aromas feature high candied caramel with moderate agave and citrus. Oily in the mouth with some medium sweetness; moderate agave, citrus, pepper, are overwhelmed by high levels of floral flavors and burnt caramel. It finishes very hot with high bitterness. BJ
Ripe agave is cooked in a stone oven, naturally fermented and then triple distilled before being laid down in new French oak barrels to age for 2 years; that is how Casa Noble creates this wonderful Tequila. Aromas of vanilla, toasted wood, butterscotch, citrus, clean earth, dark chocolate, herbs, coffee and complex spices tantalize, inviting you to taste. The full, rich mouthfeel leads with a demonstration of the complicated aroma that is evolved, deep and intricate. The finish lingers with supple re-manifestations of the flavors and fades patiently with dry nuances that call you to another sip. Try this neat with time to spare and enjoy.
The distillery that Casa Noble Tequila calls home started making tequila in the mid-18th century (before it was called tequila) in the region of Tequila, Jalisco. Today, the distillery still sits just outside the town of Tequila. The brand Casa Noble is owned by Carlos Hernandez Ramos, Jose Hermosillo Brooks, David Ravandi and Carlos Santana (yes, that Carlos Santana!). This Casa Noble Single Barrel Extra Añejo begins with fully ripe, organic, estate grown agave that is hand-selected and cooked in a stone oven for 36 hours; After cooling down, the agaves are shredded, the juice is extracted and put to naturally ferment. When the fermentation is complete, the agave wine is then triple distilled and laid down in new, lightly toasted, French oak barrels to age for 5 years. That is how Casa Noble creates this wonderful Extra Añejo tequila. What sets this Casa Noble Extra Añejo apart from others is that it is a “Single Barrel” that we here at Lists with lissome expressions of the flavors and passes deliberately with dry niceties that entice you to sip again. Try this neat with time to spare and enjoy.
