Have you ever heard something described as a little drop of heaven? If not, that just means you’ve never been properly introduced to the bourbon ball. Although we can’t take credit for the brilliant idea to combine bourbon and chocolate, we can say we’ve taken it upon ourselves to perfect that magical combination. And darn if we think we haven’t done just that.
Handmade locally in Louisville, KY by the Sugar Mama’s Bake Shop, our bourbon balls are made with Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year. Although if you are going to buy a box for a friend, we should warn you that you should probably get one for yourself too.
Sold in a 12-piece gift box. Store in the refrigerator, best if enjoyed within 1 month. It can be frozen for up to 3 months in an airtight container. For best flavor, enjoy at room temperature.

Bourbon barrels have a thankless job. Charring, years of expansion and compression, sitting in the dark nurturing their precious nectar. After performing such a heroic service, it seems a shame that the bourbon barrel’s usefulness comes to an end when the distillation begins.
We decided to do something about that. Louisville artist Jason Cohen has transformed these noble Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrel staves into cutting boards, each bearing the distinctive Van Winkle crest. The next time you cut the perfect lemon wedge, do it with artistry, dedication and good taste. The way Pappy would have wanted.
Dimensions: 8.5 x 9 inches
As the natural wood of the bourbon barrel stave used to create this cutting board will dry out over time and use, we suggest periodically applying food safe mineral oil with a dry cloth, towel or sponge to maintain the care and luster. Rinse with mild soap and warm water and dry immediately. Never soak the cutting board in water and minimize overall exposure to water.
