Il Bacialè”, in Piedmont dialect means the matchmaker and describes the person who arranged marriages between members of noble families in the area. This wine in fact originates from the perfect marriage of Barbera and other grape varieties. The wine is aged partially in big wooden vats and the remaining part in small oak casks for 12 months. It has a warm mouth feel, with plum, black pepper and cinnamon with a persistent finish. An elegant and complex wine. Accompanies Italian appetizers, red and white meats, young cheese.
