JEB DUNNUCK 92 POINTS: "The 2018 Châteauneuf Du Pape Maison La Berthaude Réserve Des Vignes Centenaires is mostly Grenache (there’s 5% each of Syrah and Mourvèdre) that was raised in 30% new French oak. It offers impressive red and black fruits, peppery garrigue, new leather, and cedary spice to go with a medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated, slightly closed style on the palate. Despite the new oak, it has a relatively classic style. Give bottles 2-3 years and enjoy over the following decade."
