The wine was fermented with 20% whole clusters prior to ageing for 14 months in cask (15% new). The increased level of whole clusters brings a spicy element to the ripe, forward plummy fruit on the nose and does not detract from the firm acidity, since potassium levels in the vineyards are back where they should be. Produced from three lieux-dits: Les Saucours, Aux Fourneaux and Ez Connardises.
