STEPHEN TANZER, VINOUS 92 POINTS - "Pale bright yellow. Subtle scents of orange zest, flowers and high-pitched brown spices. Tangy and alive; less broad but more focused and intense than the Charmes. A lovely energetic Meursault with good saline minerality and extract. Finishes with a subtle, slowly building whiplash of a finish. This very fresh style of Genevrières is tighter and less sweet than the Charmes."
ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE 91 POINTS - "The 2014 Meursault 1er Cru Les Genevrières has a very attractive bouquet with hazelnut and smoke tincturing the citrus fruit, a puff of chalk dust in the background. The palate is well balanced with tropical notes on the entry, counterbalanced with sour lemon and sea salt, seguing towards a slightly austere but intriguing finish. Give this a couple of years in bottle and you should have a respectable Meursault Genevrières at your bidding."
