Oh yes it is that time of year again... The Limited Release of Modern Spirits Pumpkin Pie!! This year's offering is astonishingly superior to last years (hard to believe-- but true). Hand made from a maceration of unadulterated, real pumpkin purée, specially selected spice and pure grain neutral alcohol; apparently, Modern Spirits Pumpkin Pie closely follows a time honored, secret family recipe. However they landed on the taste profile of this wonderful drink, it is absolutely scrumptious. From the smell through every aspect of the flavors and all the way to the excellent finish-- this screams PUMPKIN PIE at its best. This is great to make fun seasonal dessert cocktails or by itself chilled as a delicious sipper, but it will also pair incredibly well with food (braised short ribs, roasted quail or pecan pie are perfectly recommended).
