Corrido started out as a masterfully distilled Blanco Tequila which was then filled into a small lot of specially selected white oak barrels. For three years Corrido Extra waited patiently to mature. By late 2008 it was ready to break out of those barrels as an effulgent demonstration of ultra-premium Tequila and the meridian of artisan Tequila production. Corrido Extra is a very limited production Extra Anejo. Only 13,050 liters of this tequila were placed in a small lot of 58 specially selected white oak barrels, reaching it's de-sired 3 year maturity just last month. Using a pain-staking "single-barrel" bottling proc-ess at the source in Amatitan, Jalisco, Corrido Extra is a shining example of ultra-premium tequila and the pinnacle of the tequila makers art.
"Extra" has a dark golden color attesting to it's extended time in the wood. Velvety tex-ture, decadent mouth feel, taste and finish outline the elegant and wonderful cognac style qualities of this truly exceptional Extra-Anejo. Extra shipping charges apply to the gift set.
