WILD GEESE SINGLE MALT WHISKEY

“Wild Geese” were Irish soldiers who served in various European armies during the 17th and 18th century. After proving their devotion throughout history, the “Wild Geese” achieved fame. To honor and elevate their history, Wild Geese and Irish Soldiers’ present this line of Irish Whiskeys. We are going to examine the Single Malt in the lineup, and though each whiskey they make is fantastic, this one is the star. On the nose you find sweet malt, ripe berries, oak spice, stewed oranges, dried cherries, dark chocolate, roasted nuts and toffee. The taste follows, showing a drier demonstration of the dessert-like aromas in full, interlaced mouthfeel that richly satisfy. The finish is lumbering, chewy and long showing a gratifying corroboration of the flavors with an earthy vanilla that lingers throughout. This is tasty whiskey; try it neat, with a splash of water and a friend to toast with.

Nose: The nose is clean, smooth and sophisticated. There are hints of oak interwoven with a slight mustiness.On the higher notes, ripe, summer berries.

Taste & Finish: A finely balanced whiskey, smooth with an excellent body. Peppery. Spicy. Malty oak and a complex sweetness. A hint of vanilla and a lingering earthiness. The finish is long on the palate and very satisfying.
