VOUVRAY 10 LAURIERS
The Lauriers estate has been in the Kraft family for seven generations. When Laurent Kraft took over the family property in 1992 he set out to build the estate, adding parcels with a minimum vine-age of 30 years, but with some plots as old as 90 years. Everything seems magnified with the Lauriers Vouvray—the acidity level is high producing bright precision rather than the soft, creaminess. Look for fruit flavors combine poached pear richness with apricot and kumquat. Despite the crisp acidity on this Vouvray there is an underlying viscosity and depth that provides a very attractive balance.
