And this wine certainly shows its roots-- while definitely in the affordable category of wine in general, this one drinks way above its price point and reflects well the pedigree of its terroir. The palate is replete with rich fruit, cherries and plums, while minerality balances with earth, spice and appropriate acidity to lead into a moderately long, tasty finish.
