TISSOT 07 EN BARBERON CHARD
Known primarily as the origin of Tissot's Pinot Noir, this site also makes amazing Chardonnay--Burgundophiles will be reminded at once of Chassagne-Montrachet or Meursault, yet in a somewhat more slimly-structured frame, plus with that unmistakable, lip-smacking Arbois tang that comes from the distinctive marriage of limestone and a touch of nutty oxidization. Make no doubt about it, this is a serious white wine--showing beautifully now at four years of age--that will even reward a little more time. As deep, complex, and site-specific as a good Premier Cru Burgundy at twice or three times the price, this wine is officially a no-brainer.Supply is limited, so get it while you can!
