SELVAGROSSA 10 MUSCHEN
50% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc“Muschén is a young, bright, fresh wine with lots of lively berry fruit and a zippy persistent finish.”
The Selvagrossa estate is located in the Pesaro hills along the Adriatic coast in the region of the Marche. The winery was founded by brothers Alberto and Alessandro Taddei. Alessandro tends to the vineyards while Alberto is an accomplished sommelier having worked at Enoteca Pinchiorri for eight years as well as Falai Ristorante in New York’s Lower East Side. The two brothers have a small production of Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot grapes. Their wines have a sumptuousness and textural element that truly sets their wines apart from the rank and file.
