We could say the name Seghesio is synonymous with really excellent Zinfandel.....OK, we will - they have the touch, the knowledge and the experience. Their "entry level" Zinfandel is a blend of five vineyards: Cortina from Dry Creek Valley; Home Ranch, River Road, Lone Oak and their famed San Lorenzo from Alexander Valley.WINE SPECTATOR 90 POINTS - "This racy wine is jammed with pepper and licorice, plus notes of black raspberry, roasted sage and smoke. Still youthful and unpolished, but promises much. Best from 2014 through 2017. 79,000 cases made."
