have used sustainable farming practices and take great care to bring out the best in each of their unique vineyard sites. In the winery, they combine traditional and modern techniques, crafting wines in a style that centers on elegance, complexity and richness in flavor and texture.

The Elizabeth’s Reserve bottling is a “best of” blend, using only the best barrels in the cellar. With many wonderful lots representing different soil types, clones, site climates, fermenter sizes and barrel characteristics, winemaker Dave Paige pulls together a wine that truly reflects the vintage and character.

This wine is both elegant and intense, offering layered aromas of red raspberries, fresh Oregon strawberries, brown spice and cedar. Its aromas are reflected on a palate that speaks of purity and elegance, and is exceptionally balanced with silky tannins and a persistent finish.

perfect with any semi-sweet fruit dessert, from fresh seasonal berries to fruit sorbets, poached pears or apple tarts.

Adelsheim Deglace is frozen after harvest, then pressed after partial thawing. Lovely apricot pink in color, with amazing apricot, fig and honeysuckle flavors and a luscious mouthfeel. At 20% residual sugar and 11.5% alcohol, one might suspect it of being "sticky", but it has enough acid to be in perfect balance.

that linger easily on the sharp-edged finish. Best from 2016 through 2020."

“The first vintage of this Pinot noir was in 1979. Their objective in producing this wine has always been a classic, intense and elegant wine that pairs well with the foods we like to eat. By blending the diverse flavors and textures of multiple vineyards, clones and elevations, they produce a richly supple and focused wine that typifies what Pinot noir can achieve each vintage in the northern Willamette Valley. With this wine, our 34th vintage, our experience shows - we’ve long been acknowledged as producing a reference standard for the 'Oregon style'.

Ninety-four percent of the grapes used in this wine were sourced from 10 of our estate vineyards: 53% from the Chehalem Mountains and Ribbon Ridge American Viticultural Areas (AVAs), 16% from Yamhill Carlton, 22% from the Eola-Amity Hills, and 3% from the Dundee Hills. The remaining 6% was derived from non-estate vineyards throughout the Willamette Valley.” - Winery notes

With its broad array of origins and clones, this wine displays red aromas (candied cherry, pomegranate and raspberry) on the nose and the palate. In addition, one finds a light touch of brown spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, all-spice). True to our house style, it is elegantly textured with seamlessly integrated, silky, polished tannins. Pair it with salmon or ahi, veal or pork, poultry (think duck) or beef, or hearty vegetarian entrees. Our first vineyards were certified by LIVE inspectors in time for the 2008 harvest. They now farm 232 LIVE-certified acres of vineyard.

the grapes that make up this wine: Mission Ranch, southwest of the town of Soledad and at the junction of the Arroyo Seco and Santa Lucia Highlands appellations, and Silacci, which is just outside the northern end of the Santa Lucia Highlands and is one of the coolest sites in the county where Pinot Noir is planted. Both are on silty, decomposed granite-based soils. Mission is a bit better drained and less fertile than Silacci and both naturally bear small crops.Because Mission is about 18 miles south of Silacci, and further from Monterey Bay, the climate there is warmer and grapes ripen around the middle of September. At Silacci the grapes are still on the vine until around the end of the month. The sites have different characteristics. Mission gives dark, fairly ripe and plush wine while Silacci is a bit tighter, higher in acid and more perfumed. They fit together quite nicely.

on Oregon’s Willamette Valley. He fell in love with Pinot Noir and wanted to make Pinot Noir that would rival those from Burgundy. His search lead him to winemaker Lynn Penner-Ash, one of the most talented winemakers in Oregon, and a person Wine Spectator believes has "...the perfect blend of science, artistry and passion."

Due to the transition of soil types from Volcanic to Sedimentary in the Revana Vineyard, the fruit tends to produce unique flavor profiles that stray slightly from what we have come to expect from the Dundee Hills. Pleasant earthiness is highlighted by aromas gushing with red fruit and cocoa nibs, culminating with a caress of sweet red plums. On the entrance, the Pinot Noir is delicate, and teases with red berry bramble, then explodes mid-palate with juicy intense fruit. The transition to the finish is refined, leaving beautiful flavors of red currants and terrior. The 2009 Revana Vineyard Pinot Noir was aged for nine months in 16% new French oak and is a blend of 113, 114, 115, 667, 777, Pommard and Wadenswil clones.

- "Tangy, focused and juicy, with blackberry, currant and subtle spice flavors, finishing with an open feel to the expressive finish. Shows impressive purity, clarity and length. Drink now through 2020. 1,600 cases made."

BURGHOUND 89 POINTS: "There are interesting hints of cinnamon and spiced tea to the predominant aromas of red currant and iron-infused earth. There is the same spicy character to the medium-bodied flavors that are undeniably delicious before culminating in a robust and persistent finish where a touch of wood is evident. This is not a flawed wine in the typical sense but these particular spice elements, which are almost certainly oak-based, are not representative of the appellation either."

The wines are left on the lees for long periods prior to being released, and disgorgement dates of various lots are clearly indicated.
