PRAGER 07 "TOMAS" PORT
Prager’s 2007 "Tomás" Port is a very special wine: made from classic Portuguese varietals including Touriga, Tinta Cao, and Tinta Roriz. There are only a few growers in California who cultivate these traditional port grapes and Prager is one of them. They have just a few acres in Calistoga planted with these Portuguese varietals and, in the Old World tradition, they harvest them all at the same time.The 2007 Tomás Port is richly textured and medium-bodied, redolent of cherries, chocolate and black licorice and a spicy finish often found in Portuguese ports made from these grapes. Only 150 cases were produced!
