of Italy’s Marche region for hundreds of years. It produces an intensely dark, aromatic wine reminiscent of guava, tangerine, and musk, underscored with baking spices, wild herbs, and a lingering minerality. Really unlike anything else from Italy. And Conti di Buscareto—who cultivates 16 hectares of ancient Lacrima vines on the Sant ‘Amico Crest in Moro d’Alba—makes one of the best examples. Not to be missed.

known for its racier, more mineral-driven style whites and we think this tiny estate takes it to the next level of quality and personality considering the modest price of this gem. The wine is aged entirely in stainless steel and has a wonderful lemon citrus palate with crisp acidity and a bright finish. It’s excellent with all kinds of seafood and wonderful as an aperitif as well.
