Gentle nose. Very clean, layered and elegant. A grab bag of red and black fruit played up by sweet strawberry, cinnamon and pepper. Shows the range and substance of Gamay by exhibiting balance and textural complexity that would make many high-end Pinot Noir producers jealous—or hopefully, inspired.
