If you are looking for something similar to Don J. 1942 but don?t have the budget look no further. This Tequila remains somewhat of a mystery to us in regards of the distillery, oak they age it in and the length of aging. That?s OK though because this tequila absolutely will be fantastic for the holiday season. This is not your typical toasted oak, citrus and pepper bomb. This is a light and elegant tequila that is delicate complex and layered. On the nose you will find sweet vanilla loads of spices. The mouth feel is light and airy, and the predominant tastes on the palate are crŠme, lemon and pumpkin pie. The finish is elegant with sweet cinnamon, baked agave and some soft mineral tones. If you like a big burley reposado then this probably isn?t the Tequila for you. If you want a lavishly rich and delicate reposado then look no further because this is your new best friend.
