This distillers Edition brings a dimension of taste and exploration to the enjoyment of Single Malt whisky. Only a small number of hand selected casks are chosen for double maturing and each has been chosen to complement the unique character of this malt whisky. The second maturing brings a new depth and complexity to this great single malt whiskey. This special limited edition is hallmarked as a symbol of rarity and superior quality. With the strongest peat flavor of all the Islay malts, Lagavulin has a dry and complex strength of character and characteristics notes of sea-spray. It is perfectly matched with the sweet accents of sun-dried grapes of Pedro-Ximenez cask-wood.

Distilled in 1996 and Bottled in 2012. 86 proof double matured and finished in Pedro Ximenez casks
