ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE 90 POINTS - "The 2008 Pickett Road is a blend of 17% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc and 66% Petit Verdot. Freshly cut flowers, spices, new leather, licorice and dark cherries are some of the notes that emerge from this fleshy, beautifully balanced wine. This shows better balance and less overt ripeness/sweetness than the Merlot. It is a highly attractive wine to drink now and over the next few years. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018."
