JOKIGEN FUJIN JUNMAIGINJO 720

This is a pretty delicious Junmai Ginjo that has a great bouquet, filled with hints of strawberry, peach and papaya. There is a lot of tropical fruit on the palate as well, with moderate acidity and a light funk.The finish is clean and crisp with hints of pineapple and lychee, and just a hint of tartness. This is fresh and lively sake that almost reminds me of Namazake (unpasteurized sake). Jokigen will do best chilled along side big, thick cuts of tuna/salmon sashimi, raw oysters and fresh calamari.
