Our friend and former Newport Beach resident Dudley Brown is one of those fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to live his dream. A few years back he purchased a vineyard in McLaren Vale and movedto Australia. Today he is producing serious Shiraz and we are pleased to offer this limited production to our customers. The 2008 is his best yet and begs to be taken seriously. Open it now and you’ll only have an inkling of how good it’s going to be once it has had a couple of years in the cellar. Brown’s Shiraz is built for the long haul in contrast to the more common drink-me-now wines flooding the market. It’s deep, rich and structured and will need some cellar time to be appreciated.
