HONIG 10 CS NAPA
This is a great follow-up to the hugely successful 2009! Michael Honig and his family have been farming grapes in the Napa Valley for over 30 years. They utilize sustainable farming practices, which gives them the healthiest and best quality fruit they can get. After a long fermentation to extract maximum aromas, colors, and flavors, the wine is aged entirely in American oak; similar to Silver Oak. Just given a score of 91 points from Wine Spectator, this beauty shows black cherry, plum and blueberry fruit with hints of cassis and exotic spices that are perfectly balanced by sweet oak. The palate is full and rich with moderate tannins and a long finish. This, like many 2010s, is drinkable now, but will hold for several years!
