The Cuvee D's of Devaux are the expression of what is the pinnacle of their efforts. Only the best sites are selected, which are then given lavish care throughout the growing season, and constantly judged and inspected. Harvested at their very optimum to display their finest qualities which is then judiciously blended with barrel aged reserve wines to create a veritable ""Grand Champagne"" The 2000 spent over 5 years on lees and then a further 6 months resting in the cellars before release. This is a great 2000 and resembles the legendary '96 albeit with moreweight and oppulence.
