D'ARENBERG 2009 GSM "CADENZIA"
A number of the d’Arenberg wines tend to receive the lion's share of the wine press accolades while this sleeper remains somewhat under the radar. We’d pretty much forgotten about it until we fell in love with it againat a recent tasting. It’s a showy full-bodied red with lushly textured mulberry and black raspberry fruit laced with spice box, earth and a hint of smoky meat. One sip and you’ll not want to put your glass down. At this price it’s a steal.
